It's Monday, and the start of a new month. If you're thinking about starting that novel, sending out that short story to a competition, going to that writers conference, why not do it now? The only certainty in life is if you don't do anything about it, nothing will happen. No one is going to do it for you. Do it now, whatever it is, commit, and let the action empower you. Be like Goethe.

I needed to read this today. I have been struggling with internal demons - a damned sentence and scene that I don't yet know or what to write - just that I have to write it.

Glad it helped! I always think that if you get stuck on a particular scene you should just hop over it and move to something else. After all, there's no commandment that you should write in chronological order, and I find that when I come back usually I can't see what I was making such a fuss about. Hope the scene works out
